Common Sence

Hello to all who visit.My name is Steve, and I go by the nickname of"hoppy". A bit unusual but it has stuck with me through these 28 years at where I am presently employed. Which by way of abbreviation I will note as "NOV", in Odessa, Texas.
I have been through the ups and downs of the oil industries here in west texas and have come to notice the trends as they come. Nobody can really predict the outcome when it comes to the oik industries, but I have found it useful in my line of work to be well equipped for the job in order to maintain a job?
The point I am trying to make is, to KEEP a job in this part of the world, you need to be good at what you do,but....you need to know what you do and be able to handle all aspects of your job. Hence you will be one of the few"chosen" ones to survive the crunch on the downside of the industries as we are partially experiencing as of lately.
In another short I am trying to say,COMMON SENCE, has gotten me to where I am today,and of course, a little schooling. It seems like a lot of people do not have common sence now a days, and that comes to me as a surprise? Does it to you?

I am just a common everyday worker who has been busting my buns for the past 28 years trying to make a living for my wife and four kids.And....happen to be blessed with plenty of COMMON SENCE !
